Taniyana’s Personal Project

Big part of the EVS experience is the chance to develop a personal project from scratch. It is very exciting opportunity because you can really put your own creativity and imagination into practice. Building a project plan is not an easy task. It is so enriching though because it teaches you skills that could be very valuable later in your life. What I love about creating a personal project is the essence of leaving your personal unique impact on our children in the foundation with the message and lessons you truly consider important.

That is why I chose to create a project that I gives me the platform to work deliberately with our teenagers on these meaningful topics.

My personal project is about organizing a 3-month program of recycling clothes by painting them using art therapy methods to help our teenagers improve their knowledge, awareness and skills in the mentioned subjects.

At the end of this program the vision is to finish with a big Fashion Show in the center of Ramnicu Valcea. The goal of this event is to celebrate and showcase the beautiful work that we have done with the children.

Every cloth holds the story and emotions of the child who made it.
